Hi everyone, Mik here with a new Sn@p! inspiration.
I love wintertime, and today I'll show you how I used the gorgeous Winter Cottage Collection to make a special winter album on 6x8 Sn@p! Blush binder.
Let’s start with the cover.
Overlapping elements is something we love to do, right? So, this is the technique I used to decorate my winter album cover.
I started using a 6½” x 8 ¾” piece of “2x2 elements” paper, 5 ½ x 7 ½ piece of “Keep cozy”and 4 ½ x 7 ½ of “Season of wonder” to make my background. Then I used a Frame from Chipboard frames , a card from “3x4 elements”, chipboards from 6x12 chipboards, diecuts, brads, and foam stickers to embellish my cover.
For extra texture on the top of my cover, I used 3D foam stickers so that I could add snowflakes.
I used a 4x6 card to start my album, behind it I glued some tags, folded in the shape of an accordion, to give an interactive touch.
All Sn@p! binders come with 8 pages and I like to leave a page with lines to be able to write about my photos.
I love interactive pages. So here I cut 8 ½ x 12 and fold out in 6 ½. Like this I can add a lot of 3x4 photos
Another way to add photos on paper pages is by cutting a 8 ½ x 12 paper and fold out in 3 ”and 9”. Here you open your page in the center and can add 3 photos of 2”x2” on the sides.
I had a lot of fun creating this album. The Winter Cottage is a lovely collection. I’m sure that will help you to document your winter in a happy and easy way.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
