Hello crafty friends! It’s Jen today with a sweet project using the beautiful Happily Ever After collection. I love creating special gifts for my family and friends, and today’s layout is a wedding present for one of my daughter’s best friends. Dawnie has been asking for a wedding layout and this collection is perfect!
Besides the lovely photo, my main inspiration when putting this together was the gold frame on the Romance patterned paper. Dawnie plans to place the layout in a shadow box to display in her home, so I wanted to elevate this project just a bit and the beautiful gold foil frame does just that.
After fussy cutting the frame, I adhered it to the striped background using a few foam squares behind the floral clusters. Beginning at the top-left, I added chipboard stickers and die cuts to the florals to give the frame more dimension.
The title, which sits to the left of the photo, is a combination of chipboard and foam stickers that are so lovely with the gold foiling. This collection feels so elegant and really is stunning.
After adhering the photo to the top of a chipboard frame, I placed it beneath the bottom-right floral cluster. Again, I added chipboard and die cuts to give more dimension.
To finish the layout, I added gold enamel dots and the Mr. and Mrs. decorative brad stickers.
This collection is absolutely stunning! Not only is it perfect for wedding projects, but it is also great for documenting your special relationships.
Thank you so much for dropping by today! I hope you’ve been inspired to document those wedding photos you may have lying around or those of the special relationships in your life.
