Karlla here and I'm so happy to share this project with you. "Fur Baby Cat Collection" is so sweet,
and I took the opportunity to use photos of my aunt's cat who lives in Brazil.
Lua, as she is called, is so beautiful and always curious.
For this project I chose to use overlapping papers, trying to bring as many prints and layers as possible. To do this, combining it with basic papers makes it more harmonious and easier to work with. As a background, I used two papers "Purrrfect and Elements 1". As a finishing touch, I did a machine seam.
On the background, I created three rectangles that I used as the main part of the layout. I added the photos and embellishments to them. For the rectangles, I used the "Elements 2, Cat Nap" papers and the others were from the 6x8 Pad block. I love this block with reduced prints. For details, they look beautiful to mix.
Each rectangle has an overlap (6x8 block papers) and I cut the top ones a little smaller. At the end I made the edges rolled (With the help of a spatula and a pen, I shaped the paper until it rolled). At the top, I joined the two overlaps with a machine seam.
I took advantage of each rectangle and added a small photo to each one. Then I had fun decorating with the elements from the collection. Always adding foam tape in different dimensions to create this volume.
I love to decorate and mix the embellishments of the collections.
Creating this mix of elements and at the same time delicate, it fills my eyes!
Another thing I love are the mini tags on the 6x8 pad. They look great as layers and decoration.
I love this colorful mix of elements and overlays. I had a lot of fun creating this layout.
