The sunflower is charming in many ways. And with it, we can learn precious life lessons. With his example we can learn to look at the sun, in the sense of light, to see only the beautiful things that life has to offer us. That's why I fell in love with the Homegrown collection with so many sunflowers!
The cover of the 6x8 flipbook is covered with paper from the collection, and I love the round shaker on the cover. On the cover, I used adhesive, die cuts, foam stickers, and added fabric to the spine. In May every day, I tried to be like a sunflower.
On the first page of my flipbook, I used a photo of my best friend. She's just like a sunflower to me, so I put big sunflowers to represent her light, and then I added washi at the top of the page. The colors just work so well together!
A lot of the backgrounds I used are from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I placed parchment paper over this page to break the pattern a little and highlighted the sticker with foam and flower stickers!
I just love the farm animals that are in this collection! I overlaid photos and cards with die-cuts, stickers, and brads. I also added some string to give volume to the page.
On this page I used the 6x8 Page Pocket, I used a background from the 6x8 pad and with the patterned paper I made the pocket to put photos in strips. The pocket was glued to the plastic and I drew a little seam on the paper with a white pen.
So did you like this project?
I hope so because I loved the result! And I'm dying to bring you more inspiration!
To the next! ❤️❤️
