Hi everyone! Happy April! It’s Celes here @guiademanualidades, ready to share a new project. Today is the perfect time to create a beautiful and special layout with one of Sebas' memories from the FIFA World Cup 2018. When I got my hands on the Soccer collection, it instantly reminded me of it!
Sebas is a huge football fan, especially of Messi, our country's star player in Argentina. He was able to travel to that World Cup with one of his best friends, Mauricio. Choosing just one photo they have together was difficult – there are so many! But I think this one was the right choice…
Layout Base:
I used the 12×12 football field paper sheet as the base.
I also chose three colored papers: mint, sky and blush.
I took the extra football field paper and tore all the papers (one football field paper + mint + sky + blush) to create different layers. The idea is to make the central part of the football field the main focus of the entire composition.
I added each of the layers using 3D foam.
Finally, I die-cut a frame using the Memory Frames set and printed a photo to use with the Polaroid-style frame.
Decorative details are everything! And I wanted to take advantage of some of the details from the papers for this. Shall we get started?
Decorative details:
I added decorative elements cut from the papers in the set, like the footballs and orange cones. I was sure they would give it a wonderful touch.
I also die-cut some stars using hand-held punches from the colored papers I had already used and added glitter paper.
I added all these little pieces using 3D foam to maintain the layered effect I created with the papers on the base.
Then, I added the phrase and the year of this precious memory using the foam alpha stickers.
Finally, don't forget to use some pieces from the ephemera set and a few phrases.
