Hello friends, It’s Dorymar sharing a sweet project with the fantastic Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection today. What I loved about this collection is the friendship theme, the adorable Pooh, and the sweet Piglet. All of this, combined with the beautiful color palette, is Flawless.
For the cover, I aimed to create an adorable friendship scene. I started by using one of the Snap pages as the base and layered it with various patterned papers from the collection. I chose my favorite title from the foam stickers and combined different icons from the sticker sheet, along with bits and pieces and enamel dots, to craft a charming cover.
Inside the cover, I created a flap with a pocket. In the pocket, I placed cards for my journal, and there is additional space inside the flap for a 4x6 photo. I decorated the pocket using various embellishments and foam stickers.
My first page features a chipboard divider from the album. I covered the base with one of the design papers from the collection and used another piece to create a flap with a pocket, adding layers and a fun look. Inside the pocket, I made two large tags for photos, with each tag holding a 3x4 photo. To decorate the pocket, I added a beautiful chipboard design using journal bits and stickers.
Inside look.
The 6x8 paper pad also includes beautiful patterns and designs. My favorite is mini tags; these are very versatile because you can use them to decorate, create layers, and add notes. Another thing I love about the collection is the beautiful flower bunches included in the Floral Bits pack. It was pure fun to place each piece in this project.
As you know I love to create 6x8 layouts, this allows me to add regular size photos to the project, below you can see how combining the patterns can create beautiful pages.
On the back, I created another pocket with an insert, which allows me to add more photos. Since I love combining patterns, I selected my favorites according to my photo. I used the Color Vibe Mustard paper to create the insert because it blends perfectly with the collection.
One of the fantastic new products offered by Simple Stories is a beautiful set of cutters created in collaboration with Spellbinder Paper Arts. In this project, I used the "Pooh's Alphabet" cutters to design a background featuring various patterned papers from the collection. To add dimension, I adhered some pieces with foam tape. These cutters are versatile, allowing for multiple creative uses. I'm really pleased with the result!
I enjoy using tags in my projects, and I incorporated them creatively here. I made three small pockets and added tags to display photos. I also included a fun cluster with floral bits, stickers, and enamel dots to enhance the design.
I invite you to use the wonderful Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection to create beautiful projects centered on friendship. But you can also use it to document family moments, everyday life, and children.
Have fun!
