Good morning everyone! Have you started your holiday paper crafting yet? Working on handmade Christmas cards always brings me sweet memories and warm feelings. Anya here today and I would love to share a set of cards I created using a gorgeous Simple Vintage North Pole collection. When you work with a paper line this pretty, it's hard to stop. Sharing six cards today, but there will be a whole lot more using this beautiful line!
Creating cards in bulk always saves time. I start by preparing a stack of card bases from white cardstock. My go to size for years has been 4.25” x 6.25”. I feel like it is big enough for design possibilities and small enough to fit into an envelope nicely.
Also, when and I am working on a number of cards at once I fell like I'm always able to use scraps and bits and pieces for one card when it didn't work for the other. Having a great variety of ephemera and stickers makes creating process easy and enjoyable! I used all kinds of embellishments here and that's what makes each one of them unique and fun.
Thank you for visiting Simple Stories! I hope I've inspired you to start working on Christmas cards if you haven't yet. Come back soon for more inspiration!
