Trick Or Treat! by Conny Craig

Trick Or Treat! by Conny Craig
Hello Crafty Friends,

It's Conny with a Halloween album using the Simple Vintage October 31st Collection! I don't know about you but this collection is giving me Hocus Pocus Vibes with all the little pieces, pumpkins and so much more! My foundation pages are ready for me to start documenting this October 2022.

For the album, I am using a 6x8 Sn@p album binder- black. Let's decorate the cover page. I started by ripping three strips of paper and distressing papers - Pumpkin fest, happy haunting, color vibe texture cardstock in black layering them on top of another. I tied the glittery tool and added a chipboard tag with a decorative brad at the album's spine. From the chipboard cluster, I used the circle bingo chipboard and added the foam embellishments on top, around, and more decorative brads around.

Inside the album, I added a lot of flip pages and added stitching to the photo mats in the album. Embellish with enamel dots, foam, and chipboard stickers.

Using the pocket pages that come with the album- on this page, I created a shaker pocket with sequins, polymer mix, and stitch closed using my sewing machine 3x4 and 4x6 cards to fill the pockets.

Next, I added the Sn@p 3x4 photo flips with the 3x4 card elements -that's another space for you to add whatever you want to display.

I tried creating different layouts in the album to keep it interesting. On this page, I added 2x2 cards to display photos and embellish them with more foam stickers, and ripped paper.

The 6x8 pockets are great for larger photos. I love all the detail stitching adds to the album. It just takes it to another level. Do not be afraid to try it, it took me a while to get it but what I have found that works for me- is to take my time. DON'T RUSH!

Tags are one of my favorites, you can use them in pockets, layouts, albums and so much more. Now, I can really enjoy my October by just taking the photos and adding the little details to this chunky Sn@p album.

That's it for today, let me know how you plan on using the SV October 31st Collection. Are you planning to document daily with a mini album or layouts?

BOO! I have a page just to document Hocus Pocus's new movie this year and I am excited!

Happy Halloween Crafty Friends!
