Do you have a favorite holiday to scrapbook? I absolutely love to scrapbook Halloween. It's not actually my favorite holiday, but for some reason I do love to document it! The new Boo Crew from Simple Stories is full of traditional colors and icons while adding some current trends to the products, making oh so fun to get spooky with! Christine joining you today with a multi-photo layout showcasing our Halloween 2019!
This collection really zones in on the black and orange Halloween color scheme and I decided to run with that. I kept those colors a focus adding in the creams and grays that are also a part of the collection.
One of the papers that immediately jumped out at me was the "Happy Haunting" patterned paper. I loved the spider web designs on it. Knowing that I wanted to start there, I really built my whole layout around how I could use that paper. I fussy cut three partial webs to use as the anchors for my visual triangle through my layout.
This collection has so many fun embellishments. After beginning my embellishing with the spider webs, I built it from there using Bits & Pieces and Chipboard to create little Halloween scenes.
One of the things I love about this collection is how it's not too scary looking. I generally stick with the more lighthearted side and the cute ghosts and mummies allowed me to do that!
Lots of little details can help to finish off the scene. I added stars and some Nuvo drops to be my final touches to each scene.
I'd be missing out if I didn't take the chance to talk a little about how much I love the "Boo Crew - Tags" paper here! I used it as the matting for each of my photos. I originally had intended to cut them into rectangles and put them right onto the tags. But I didn't love the look of that, so I decided to cut around the people in the pictures. That is a super risky move for me :). But when I added them I knew it was just perfect. It took away the distracting backgrounds that I had before and unified their background colors on the tags.

Thanks so much for joining me! Happy Haunting!

Hi Stephanie,
You actually need just the four products listed above. Within the collection kit you would need the sticker sheet, the tags patterned paper, So Fantastic, and Happy Haunting. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
