Today Documented! by Christine Meyer
Are you looking for a great year-round collection? Look no further, Hello Today fits the bill! Not only will this one work for monthly layouts or scrapbooking any season, but it also works for non-themed layouts completely! Christine joining you today to show how I used this layout to scrapbook an everyday story of one of my sons.

The patterned papers in this collection feature one side that goes with each month and one side that is a traditional patterned paper. The patterns are vibrant and unique and so fun to play with! I wanted to save most of my 12 X 12 sheets from the collection to do my monthly layouts, so I dug into the 6 X 8 Paper Pad A LOT for this layout!

Using a simple white cardstock base, I was able to work in a lot of patterns. I layered five different papers from the 6 X 8 paper pad in a fanned out pile. This created a really unique look without allowing any one patterned paper to dominate completely.

I used two Chipboard Frames to position my pictures. Originally I was only going to use two pictures but it felt off balance. With the symmetrical look of my background, I needed to bring balance. So I added in a third picture, but I didn't have another with the wood grain look. So I just used more paper from the 6 X 8 paper pad to mat it.

Coordinating with my patterned papers, I created clusters of embellishments around the layout. I used a combination of Foam Stickers, Brads, Bits & Pieces, and Stickers from the Sticker Book.

After adding all my clusters the layout still felt a little off, so my very last addition was the stitched circle. That filled in some gaps and helped unify the whole layout.
You can check out how this whole layout came together in the process video up on my YouTube Channel!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

This is so cute. I don’t have chipboard frames but I do have some paper that looks similar so I can make picture frames,
