The Secret Ingredient is Love! by Kylie Kingham

The Secret Ingredient is Love! by Kylie Kingham

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by the blog today. It's Kylie with you again and I am sharing a fun layout I created with the 'Apron Strings' collection. I had a series of photos to scrapbook, documenting fun memories made in the kitchen, passing on family recipes.

To begin, I trimmed a 1/4" strip off each side of the 'SEASONED WITH LOVE' paper and adhered it centered over the 'LIVE, LOVE, EAT' paper. Next, I trimmed a 6 1/2" x 11 1/2" piece of 'WHATS FOR DINNER' and adhered it 1 inch down from the top of the background page. For extra colour i have added a strip of the 'FARM TO TABLE' paper to the top and bottom edge of the 'Whats for dinner' paper strip.

A set of three photos were adhered to my page. One was printed to 6" x 4" and the smaller two were printed to 3" x 4" in size. Once in place I was able to start embellishing. I've used a combination of the chipboard stickers, cardstock stickers and die cuts.

I really loved the black 'Recipe' chipboard sticker and chose to use it as part of my page title. Using some green alpha stickers from the 'Color Vibe Lights' sticker book I was able to create the title 'Family Recipes'.

By using some foam adhesive on some of the layered pieces, allows me to incorporate height and dimension into my page design. In order to help some pieces stand out to the eye further, I have added a free hand drawn border with a black fine tip pen.

To finish my page, I fussy cut one of the tags from the 'TAGS' paper and added it in behind one of my photos, finished with a string bow.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my latest page design today featuring the fun 'Apron Strings' collection!

Until next time,

Kylie
