It's Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration featuring one of the newest sport collections from Simple Stories, SWIM. I am sure that you are loving all these new sport collections, I am so happy that I have the perfect collection to document my little cousin's first swim meet in style.
Sometimes inspiration comes from the simplest of things. For me it was all about the medal shape, so a circle was the way to start this page.
I cut an 8" circle from Warm White Color Vibes cardstock. Then, I took some time to cut the little waves in the Flip Turn paper. I cut about two thirds of the page, and then glued them to the bottom of the circle.
I was careful to trim the excess around the circumference of the circle. There were a few waves that were carefully detailed, these were added to the top of the waves. This helped to create the perfect spot for my photos.
I decided to set the circle on the Take Your Mark paper but then frame it with the rest of the Flip Turn paper. Once it was all in place, it was all about adding small details to complete the page. The swimmer sticker icon was just the perfect size next to the photos. I added a few more embellishments that repeated throughout the page.
To elongate the design on the page, I added a few more embellishments at the top right corner of the photos. I repeated elements, but made sure that they expanded to the top of the page,
Lastly, I used the large title sticker to complete my page. A bit of foam adhesive was all I needed to make it pop at the bottom of the circle.
