Hi Everyone! Odessa here with some adorable Easter pages in a 4x6 Flipbook. Bunnies + Blooms is such a cute collection! Not only is it packed with cute Easter stuff, but there are some really gorgeous florals in there that I cannot get enough of. This might be my most favorite Easter collection yet!
I used a 4x6 Blush Flipbook. The color goes with the collection well and I thought a smaller size would work for some with some spring-y memory keeping.
I used a few different things to decorate the cover. I first covered it with the purple polka-dotted side of the Egg Hunt cardstock. I added a strip of cheery rainbow cardstock from the 6x8 pad and then used the scalloped border sticker from the cardstock sticker sheet to cover the seam and give it a cute notebook vibe. I then cut down one of the 4x6 elements to go in the middle of the cover and surrounded it with floral die cuts and stickers with a few well placed enamel dots and other small dimensional embellishments.
For the first page I wanted it to be a little splashy so I used some layers. I cut down the gorgeous floral So Sweet cardstock to 4x6 and put it in a page protector. On top of that I used the extra large Bloom die cut from the Bloom Page Pieces stuck onto some vellum to let the florals underneath peek through without being overwhelming.
Underneath the large die cut I added a small cluster of embellishments. The butterfly enamel dot is so sweet!
Inside there is a lot going on. I got pretty into layering and hidden journaling. I love when I’m looking at something and find a little surprise peeking out so I try to include things like that when I can. I have a couple of photos and 3x4 cards showing and then a photo flip as well as a tag tucked behind a photo to pack a little more into this small layout. As you can see here, I got a little into those beautiful flower prints. I just love them so much!
On this side of the layout the photo of my kid turned out a little funny and the face was a strange color and all in shadow, but I liked the photo. I “fixed” it by sticking on a chipboard bunny head. It’s a little goofy, but so am I. On the other side you can see the photo flip with the scalloped border sticker to help make it a little more obvious. That rainbow chipboard sticker might be my favorite thing in the collection. I just love that the middle arc is flowers!
Here is where I reveal all my layout secrets! If you flip over the photo flip you can see the back of the tag. It’s actually a journaling spot from the Bunnies + Blooms die cut Journal Bits that I stuck cardstock to the back of so it would look good on both sides. I got in a little journaling on it. If you look up at the right side of the photo the tag from the Bunnies + Blooms Tags cardstock that was hidden behind the other photo is pulled out. I used a mix of journaling, cardstock stickers and puffy stickers to tell the story of the photo that it’s under.
This spring list is a die cut from the Bunnies + Blooms Journal Bits that I stuck onto the So Sweet cardstock and added tape and an enamel dot to play up the to do list feel of it. Next to it is a photo of some (very delicious!) Easter ice cream. I used a small strip leftover from cutting the rainbow cardstock from the 6x8 pad for the cover on one side to make it a little more whimsical and a couple little embellishments to finish it off.
Bunnies + Bloom is such an adorable collection! Even if you don’t have many Easter photos to scrap, the floral prints are just beautiful and I see myself reaching for them a lot.
