Hello everyone! This is Tya (@tyasmith3) and I am super excited to share with you my latest bunch of handmade cards! This month I got to work with the amazing “Summer Snapshots” collection and it was so dreamy! Made me super excited for warmer weather, ice cream, and flip-flop season!
Here are some close-ups of what I created. I did 5 cards and 4 fun tags that could be used on some summer-themed gifts or cards as well.
Lots of layering happening with my cards as well as lots of twine and buttons for some texture and interest. I loved the big ice cream cone on this card! The new Big Bits and Pieces are so fun to add to cards for extra pizzazz!
The collection includes some really cute ephemera like these 2 cards that I layered up on this tag. They are from the Polaroid Bits and Pieces and looks so cute as a little beachy scene!
Pretty colors abound in this collection! Look at all the soft pastels combined with the pops of bright! Love this!

I loved the icons so much in this collection! You get lots of summery icons as well as cute cameras and lots of whimsical florals and bugs!
Don’t you just want to hop on this moped and cruise down to the beach? Again, I used one of the ephemera pieces from the Big Bits and Pieces as my focal point for this fun card! Can it be summer yet?
I added some sparkle and shine to my cards with some Diamond stickles. The cute stack of seagulls from the Cardstock Stickers made this tag super fun!
This bottom row of cards is the epitome of what summer is! I can just taste the tart lemonade, feel the roller-skates on my feet as I skate down a beach town pier, and then grab my camera and smile and celebrate because Summer will be here soon!
