Hello Simple Stories friends!
Nathalie here to share a bit of colorful inspiration featuring the new STAY WILD collection from Simple Stories. I am in love with the collection, it is so perfect for outings to the zoo, and your crazy everyday lives. So, I pulled one of the most recent photos from my little cousins, in my hometown's zoo, for this layout.
It is no secret that I love Simple Stories' chipboard frames. I always reach for those first, as they are the perfect starting point for my page. This time, the large 6x4 photo frame with the toucan on the top right corner was perfect to frame my photo.
To anchor my page to the background cardstock, I chose to create banners from some of the 12x12 patterned papers and 6x8 paper pad. These were attached to the top to the page, then the frame was added atop of the banners.
I used a leaf die set -that matched some of the leaves in the collection design- to cut a few leaves from the patterned papers. In addition, I am using the same die set to cut a few extra leaves from some of the Color Vibe paper (Peacock, Green, Olive). These were used to bulk up the clusters at the corners of the chipboard frame.
Finally, I reached for just a few more embellishments for my page, then added the title (Foam Stickers) at the bottom of the center banner, and voila!! It was so much fun to put this together.
