Scrapbooking school days can feel like an overwhelming task because it covers so much time! For example, how in the world do you keep up with all those First Day of School pictures!? Then there's the last day of school pictures and everything in between too! Simplifying a little bit can be a great way to tackle this topic and I've got an idea for you today that does just that! Christine joining you with a layout that showcases my son's First Day of School Pictures from PK-6th Grade. Let's take a look!
Although I haven't been able to put each of these pictures onto their own layout, by creating this collage style layout, I was able to ensure that they are at least in there somewhere! Using the tags paper, I created a 12 piece grid style layout to capture 8 photographs and a fun title.
Have you checked out the new Page Pieces? Their title piece is nice and large making it a perfect title piece! It was my initial go to for this layout and worked just perfect!
Building the title out from the Page Pieces, I used a combination of the School Rules paper followed by stars from the Bits & Pieces and Foam Stickers. Finally I added Enamel Dots as the final touch to the title.
I chose to decorate three of the tags with more detail - creating a visual triangle between those three tags.
Each tag includes more stars, Enamel Dots, and one of the Puffy Stickers. The Puffy Stickers are a smaller scale sticker and work especially well in clusters on layouts!
One of the advantages to using the tag paper is all the color it brings into the layout without having to cut up a whole bunch of papers!
You can check out the entire process for how I made this layout in my YouTube Video!
Thanks so much for joining me today!
