Hi, Friends! Andrea here with a new layout showcasing the gorgeous ‘Noteworthy’ collection by Simple Stories. I am planning to use bits and pieces of this collection for an ongoing yearly project, but I was really excited to also create a 12x12 layout with it.
I am using both the 12x12 and the 6x8 patterned papers to create this page, as well as a few pieces from the Noteworthy Simple Cards set (That’s where the journaling piece is from). I created a vertical designed with multiple layers, focusing on creating contrast with the papers I chose. As usual, I wanted to also add a lot of texture and dimension, so I folded a few squares of papers and adhered them at the bottom half of my page. I am in love with how that background turned out.
I used one of the chipboard frames to frame my photo, and a foam title sticker for my title. To finish embellishing the layout, I used chipboard stickers, cardstock stickers, decorative brads, rub-ons, bits & pieces, and enamel dots. It is always fun to add pops of colors while mixing textures to my projects.
This page is already on display on my wall. It is one of those layouts that reminds me that there are always reasons to smile. I hope this project inspires you, and I encourage you to grab this beautiful collection to document your memories. I'd love to see what you create with it.
