Today, I’m excited to share a Snap flipbook mini album using the 4x6 green flipbook. You can’t tell it’s green anymore because I covered it entirely with beautiful papers from the Simple Vintage Yuletide collection. For this album, I wanted to showcase my favorite patterns, highlight some family moments, and focus primarily on 4x6 photos. This album is extra special because it’s a Christmas gift for a dear friend I’ve known for over 20 years. Let me walk you through the details!
For the cover, I used a white-and-red striped pattern from the 6x8 paper pad. I added a delicate touch with a green polka-dot border, created with a border punch and stitched with gold thread. This border was adhered to the cover and embellished with:
- A “Season’s Greetings” sentiment.
- Holly leaf, enamel dot accents and decorative brads.
- A ribbon and charm that perfectly complement the collection.
I love the mix of simplicity and texture that the stitching, enamel details, and embellishments bring.
On the back cover, I used a simple green plaid pattern and left it unadorned. The inside covers were decorated with foam stickers, bits and pieces from the collection, enamel dots, and iridescent pops of color.
Inside, I alternated between 4x6 photos and 4x6 elements from the 12x12 collection kit. Each page was embellished with a mix of:
- Chipboard stickers.
- Decorative brads and enamel dots.
- Sparkly accents on the berries using Pops of Color.
I also included a 3x4 page from the extension pack to hold journaling blocks and 3x4 elements.
Throughout the album, I tucked in tags for hidden journaling or smaller photos. These little surprises add depth and allow for more personalization.
