Peace and Joy! by Cristina Sales

Hi beautiful Simple Stories friends, Cristina here today to show you my newest project using the Simple Vintage North Pole collection and It’s all about Christmas. Yeah….. Christmas is coming!!!!!

I totally love the light vintage touch of these designs, really versatile and perfectly suited to any type of project. Obviously with all the different embellishments of which this collection is full of, many types of projects could be made like December Daily because of the various sheets of the sticker book you will find, like the sticker numbers as well as many other decorative elements.

I chose to decorate the Joy writing which is a simple stories file available on the silhouette designs store. I spread some modeling clay using a beautiful Christmas themed stencil, holly berries, and as soon as the dough dried I started my composition.

I really enjoyed choosing from all the amazing embellishments products as chipboard, foam, cardstock stickers, ephemera die-cuts, brads and layered stickers. The chipboard frames are really my favorites and I totally love how it turned out on all of my layers. As a final touch I added some drops of red color using a watercolor paint and then some drops of gesso mixed with water spread using a watercolor brush.
