Pack Your Bags Embellishment Clusters

Pack Your Bags Embellishment Clusters
Hello friends! Anya is here today and I am so excited to share with you one of the starting points you could use for scrapbooking. Last week, I decided to play with the Bits and Pieces and stickers form the Pack Your Bags collection before making an actual project. I paired up different elements together to create clusters that could be used later in projects. In addition, I cut a bunch of tickets from the Let's Go Everywhere patterned paper and added them to almost all of the clusters as one main element. It's a very fun way to get creative before making an actual layout or a mini book.
After creating nine embellishment clusters, I wanted to share a few projects that show these embellishments being used. First, I created a 4x6" card, which came together super quickly! All I had to do was add a few layers under the main piece and finish it off with a few scattered details.
For my page spread, I decided to use the cluster with a cactus, since it reminded me of a trip we took to Arizona a few years ago. I absolutely love when embellishments remind us of the stories we haven't yet told. The layout also came together pretty quickly. I printed a few photos at home, added a little bit of layering and based everything on one of my favorite patterned papers from this collection - the yellow map print.
I hope you have been inspired by a different approach to memory keeping. If you haven't scrapbooked in a while and feel like you need a warmup - make some embellishment clusters, and then challenge yourself to use a few of those in your projects today!
