Hey Simple stories friends! Samee here with my final design team project. It was so wonderful to make pretty things with Simple stories collections.
Yeah! Let's get into my Valentine project. February is all about 14 days of love and I used to make projects for every day. This year I couldn't make mail projects, so I made a pretty tote bag using the Simple Stories Heart Eyes collection.
For the bag, I traced out the hand drawn template on two beautiful papers - Solid red and colored stripes paper. Then glued the sides together and added the handle using a strip of paper. Pasted enamel dots as holding pins.
To stuff the bag, I made mini envelopes and embellished them with journal cards from the 12-inch paper collection and cardstock stickers.
Then trimmed out 4 pieces of 2x2-inch elements from the 12-inch paper and turned it into mini accordion album.
Decorated 3x4 cards from 12-inch paper pad with some layers of ephemera.
I added Bits and pieces, tags, hearts, embellished all using Heart Eyes brads, chipboard stickers, enamel dots and washi tapes.
I created two pretty Valentine Bags.
