Hello everyone! It’s Kylie back with you with some Christmas scrapbooking inspiration! For my layout today I have worked with the festive ‘Simple Vintage North Pole’ collection which features a lot of traditional holiday elements. I really wanted to create a layout with lots of colour and include lots of fun layers.
I decided to work with the ICE BLUE paper from the NORTH POLE basics paper pack for my background. Next, I proceeded to cut varying lengths and widths of different colour ways and paper designs to create a layered cluster over the top. I did not work to any measurement for these pieces and before I worked adhering them onto my background, I distressed all the edges a little. This gave a lovely dimension and texture once my page was completed.
My photo was printed to a 6”x 4” size to which I adhered one of the fun chipboard frames over the top of. It was then adhered over my paper strips with foam squares, so that it sat up a little from the background. Using several of the die cuts from the BITS & PIECES pack I layered several in a cluster next to the frame. I also added some of the layered stickers over the top of the chipboard photo frame.
There are so many cute phrases on the FOAM STICKER sheet, from which I selected ‘Merry & Bright’ to be my page title, positioned under my photo.
To complete my page, I added several elements such as hearts and stars, positioned around my page to add balance where I felt it was needed.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I hope you have enjoyed seeing my layout.
Take care!
