Hello friends, it’s @vickiscraps here to share with you a layout I’ve made using Simple Vintage Yuletide which is a beautiful vintage Christmas collection. I scrapped some modern photos with the collection and I think it worked perfectly.
I started by hand cutting two large candy cane shapes from the red and white striped side of the 3x4 elements paper and then using a white pen to add a border to each. I used foam to adhere these to the page to add dimension.
I added some of the florals to the crossover point of the candy canes to tie them together
I used some of the ephemera as layering pieces for my photos along with some more florals. I also added a tab saying magical moments above the photo which works perfectly. Of course, I added some enamel dots to match Rudolph’s nose!
I used some foam stickers for my title and split ‘holly jolly’ across the two photos.
I really hope this gives you some modern inspiration for a very vintage collection. I definitely had fun with it - I love how cute my niece looks in her Christmas dress. Thank you for looking, Vicki xx
