Hello, friends! It’s Dorymar, and today I’m excited to share an adorable project with you. February is just around the corner, which means it's time to document our love for someone special—whether it’s a family member, friend, colleague, or anyone else who holds a place in our hearts. A wonderful way to do this is by creating a lovely project featuring the new Heartstrings collection. One of the things I love about this collection is the vibrant touch of orange, which beautifully highlights the entire range. Let’s take a look!
As expected, I chose the 6x8 red Flipbook, which is the perfect match for this collection. For the cover, I used a variety of designer papers to create the layers I love, adding plenty of color to the project.
I selected a diverse range of die cuts from the floral and ephemera packs. I also included stickers, and as a finishing touch, I added enamel dots. All the embellishments are attached with foam tape to create dimension.
Inside, I created a side pocket decorated with beautiful cardstock from the 3x4 set, added a cluster of flowers, and for my personal touch, I included ribbon and twine. For the interior insert, I used Flamingo paper from Color Vibe.
To create my custom pages, I selected the Flamingo, Red, and Orange papers from Color Vibe. These papers are thick and ideal for this type of project. Staying true to my style, I incorporated various papers to play with patterns. A special detail in this project is the company's new addition, the Sentiments Bits. You'll notice them throughout the project; they are perfect for titles and adding messages.
I really enjoy creating 6x8 layouts and combining them with pocket pages that follow. It's so much fun to mix and match, find the perfect embellishments for the photos, and create something magical. In this layout and the pages below, you can see each design and the adorable pieces included in the collection.
The combination of orange and pink tones is absolutely perfect, and I love them!
