Hello Simple Stories friends!
It's Nathalie here with a new project featuring the colorful and fun Heart Eyes collection. What is not to love about a collection that is perfect to document all things "Love"! There are so many beautiful and cute designs that it was so easy to put this layout together in no time.
The color palette of this collection is vibrant with pops of black. As soon, as I saw the I Heart You patterned paper, I knew those stripes would make for a perfect background.
One of my favorite things in Simple Stories collections are their chipboard frames. They usually are my starting point for my projects. This time, I combined two of them to create a more vertical design for my page. Once I had them backed with my photos and glued together, it was time to play with paper.
To bring some of the vintage feel of some of the designs, I decided to punch an edge around white cardstock, and layer pieces of patterned paper and papers from the 6x8 paper pad to create my background. I set them all at the top of the page, then added my photos to the left of the paper layers.
I started to add a few embellishments to my page. Those gorgeous florals serve as my main embellishment and then added a few stickers, ephemera pieces, and brads.
The large foam adhesives are usually my go-to pieces to create titles for my projects, and the new Heart Eyes collection has some of the cutest words and phrases. It was easy to combine it with a the stickers to complete my title work.
After a few enamel dots, the layout is complete. I just love how it turned out! The new Heart Eyes collection is just perfect to document all those special people and moments in your lives!
