Hello Simple Stories Friends.
Karlla here, and I'm so excited to share a new project with you.
What I find amazing working with the Simple Vintage Collections is that I end up exploring a different side of myself. This vintage style reminds me of abusing mixed media, worn out papers. I love it, and Simple Vintage allows me to play around with these techniques.
I love playing with the "Chipboard Frames" from the Simple Vintage collections. I brought this model to my project, with the intention of leaving it as a background detail.Being able to create a mixed media with a beautiful shade of pink. I also used the "6x8 Stencil" lightly over the mixed media.
On the "Chipboard Frame" I added the decoration elements and photos. Creating a diagonal sketch.
I have to confess that I love the butterflies of the "Indigo Garden". This mix of colors is amazing, and I like to layer them with a seam in the center of them.
Under the photos, I added the flowers of "Floral Bits & Pieces" and other elements like "Foam Stickers, Decorative Brads and Bits & Pieces"
In these photos you can see the intention to leave the "Chipboard Frame" empty, I love these effects of mixing techniques, decoration elements and overlays.
I love how Simple Stories gives me the opportunity to create different styles. I hope I have inspired you with this project.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
See you soon,
X Karlla Dauer.
