Hi Crafty Friends, It's Conny here with a chipboard album using CELEBRATE Collection. My daughter is turning four years old I wanted to create an album documenting her milestones and likes. We went outside for a mini photoshoot to add to her birthday cards - that was perfect for the first part of the album! The Celebrate! collection is not only for Birthdays - you can document so many different events/celebrations, it's bright, fun, and hip.
Let's get started!
Let's get started!
I started with two chipboard covers measuring 8.5 by 5 wrapped the front cover with 'All the Cake' paper and the back with coral textured cardstock, stitched with my sewing machine with yellow thread.
The spine chipboard is 8 1/8 by 1 & 1/8 inches -you need a paper measuring 8 1/8 by 4 inches, placing the chipboard piece in the middle of that paper- after matting the chipboard and paper on the inside/top of the covers -leaving 1/8 space between covers. Next, covering the chipboard backings - top covers 8 1/4 by 4 3/4.
The front cover came together with a chipboard frame, Let's Celebrate sentiment from the Chipboard Stickers, with a few Decorative Brads, Puffy & cardstock Stickers, and some bits and pieces.
Inside the album, an envelope was placed to add keepsakes or notes.
After, I got a few papers from the 6x8 paper pad and folded them in half creating a handmade journal. The journal is only for the photos I took before her birthday with all the details of this day. It all came together with brads, cardstock, foam stickers, and enamel dots.
Finally, at the back of the album-I added a cardstock band for the album I created with the cinch binding tool, covers are 7 by 4 1/2 inches. I won't be showing you inside that one yet- I need the birthday party photos. Hehe!
Embellished the band with the sentiment "All the cake", brads and bits and pieces.
Seam binding/ ribbon and wallah!
We can't wait to see what you create with CELEBRATE!
Happy 4th Birthday, Savanna! I love you!
