Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here, to share a mini album that I created using the Mix & A-Mingle collection. This collection has the most beautiful retro designs! I love the traditional Christmas colors mixed with some pink and mint green! I couldn’t help but make this cute little interactive mini album. I cannot wait to fill it with photos from our holiday memories this year.
This little album has pocket flaps on both sides, so it has a gate fold opening. Each page is also a pocket. I wanted this album to be full of little bits and pieces so that I could add journaling and photos after the holidays!
Not only did I add texture with chipboard, decorative brads, foam stickers and enamel dots, I added ribbon and pom pom trim as well. The holidays wouldn’t be complete without extra embellishments and ribbon, right?
In the largest pocket at the back of the album I added a chipboard frame. Chipboard frames are my favorite, I add them to most of my projects. They’re so fun to work with!! They’re perfect for adding photos and journaling.
This little album was SO much fun to put together with the Mix & A-Mingle collection. I hope that you’re documenting your holiday memories with this collection as well.
