If The Broom Fits! by Cristina Sales

If The Broom Fits! by Cristina Sales

Hi beautiful Simple Stories friends, Cristina here with you today to show you a new page I made with a brand new collection Boo Crew and It’s all about spooky elements and pumpkins. I made a page totally different than the ones I usually do and I had so much fun doing it, using all these amazing elements. I really love designs for all the elements this collection is full. Inside the collection kit you have all the patterned papers and they are so nice, you can chose between any kind of designs about the Halloween theme. This is amazing.

Honestly, I don't celebrate Halloween because it’s a holiday that has only started to be known in Italy for a few years and is especially important for children. When I imagine an Halloween theme I visualize a spooky house, bats and big pumpkins engraved and scary. So that’s what I tried to make for my inspiration.

I needed a big spooky house so I used a beautiful Simple Stories cut file available on the Silhouette store, and cut it off set using a white cardstock and then I cut the file with all its details using the patterned paper Hey Pumpkin who has very warm colors to create a contrast with the white below.

I used double-sided foam tape to get more shadows on the underlying sheet, so for my base I chose a very bright patterned paper to contrast. It’s the so fangtastic paper. Then was time to start my composition adding any kind of beautiful elements to embellish my layout and this is the part I totally love and my favorite one. I used bits and pieces, stickers, chipboards and the lovely adhesive brads I really love in this new look without wings on the back side.

That’s it! I hope I’ve inspired you in some ways so thank you so much for joining me today and see you next time. Bye.
