I love you, Little One by Andrea Lake
Hi, Friends! Andrea here, sharing a new album I created using the gorgeous Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection. I wanted to make a highly interactive album as a special gift for my best friend’s daughter. She’s turning two this year, and I thought it would be fun for her to enjoy looking at photos of herself while flipping through a star-shaped album instead of traditional pages.
To create the base of the album, you’ll need:
- Two pieces of chipboard (5” x 5”) for the covers
- One 12” x 12” sheet of patterned paper to cover them
- Seven pieces of Dandelion Simple Stories Color Vibe Cardstock, scored in half, for the inside covers and first layer of pages
- Seven additional pieces (XXX size), also scored in half, for the second layer of pages
- Seven more pieces (XXX size), scored in half, for the final layer of pages
To assemble, adhere the pages together by applying double-sided tape to the ends. I used a pretty green ribbon to keep the album securely closed.
Each mini spread in this album is filled with beautiful details—from sweet photos of Anastasia playing in the backyard to the stunning embellishments from this collection. One of my favorite elements is the scene and titles I created using the BetterPress plates by Spellbinders in collaboration with Simple Stories. The details and texture are simply magnificent!
As always, I love mixing different products to bring my projects to life. The stickers and embellishments in this collection are perfect for documenting both special milestones and everyday moments with your little ones.
