Hello friends, it’s @vickiscraps here today to share a layout using the wonderful Let’s Go collection. I really love a travel themed collection and this one has my heart! I wanted to do a hand cut title on this layout, so I pulled out the 6x8 paper pad to do that.
To start the layout, I tore the ‘Pack Your Bags’ so that it covered a little over half of my white background. I noted where the line of the paper was and used some inks to add a blended effect under the torn edge.
To create my title, I cut some 3-inch strips from five different papers in the 6x8 paper pad and freehand drew and cut the letters I wanted. Perfection is not the aim here - I wanted them to look hand drawn. I then drew a line around each one using a black fine line pen.
I used a photo from a holiday to Turkey - it’s not perfect, but it’s a great memory, so I love it!
The title was to be Holiday Vibes, so I used a foam sticker for the word holiday and it works perfectly with the hand cut tile. I also used lots of different embellishments on the page including brads, bits & pieces, puffy and chipboard stickers.
To finish off, I used two of the tags from the bits & pieces tied together with a piece of string to add to that travel vibe. I hope it inspires you to use this collection - I think it’s my favourite yet!
