Hi Friends! Andrea with you today sharing a new project using the new Simple Vintage Weathered Garden collection a Teal 6x8 SN@P! Binder by Simple Stories. I created a gratitude journal/album for a very special person. I love creating projects that are designed with someone in mind. Even if you don’t really know exactly what they like, it feels so personal and it helps me to pay closer attention to the details.
The 6x8 SN@P! Binders make it easy to come up with endless ideas for different types of projects. I am not including any photos but I am making sure I add as many details as possible that can inspire my friend to use it and keep adding to it. I started by covering the front and back covers of the album using two of the 12x12 papers from the SV Weathered Garden Basic Kit. I then decorated the inside chipboard dividers and pages using different patterned papers from the collection before finishing the cover.
You can find butterflies everywhere throughout this journal. I love the texture and movement they add to any project. There’s one section that can be used to write down thoughts, happy memories, gratitude quotes, or anything that the new owner wants. The middle section has a little bit of everything, from journaling cards, journal bits, fussy cut pieces of patterned paper, to a fun pocket page with different elements in it. The last section only includes pocket pages so she can add photos, papers, etc. Once again, the chipboard frames and clusters were my favorite pieces to include. You can find them on the front cover and a couple of the chipboard dividers.
