Havin' A Blast! by Mik Godinho

Havin' A Blast! by Mik Godinho

Hello everyone!

It’s Mik here from Papermiks on the blog today sharing a new flipbook inspiration using the joyful Family Fun collection

I have a friend who is a board game lover. She has a group that meets several times per month to play. Sabrina loves scrapbooking and when I saw the Family Fun collection, I automatically thought of her. She sent me some pictures of her last game night and today I’ll show you a fun Game Night’s album that I made her.

I chose the 6x8 Black Flipbook to make Sabrina’s album.

I started using an 8’ ½ x 7’1/2 game night paper to make the background.

Here’s a tip for those of you who don't know where to start making your cover. You can start looking for the elements of the collection, one that you think might be the representation of your album. Family Fun collection brings a lot of game elements and I decided for the spinner. I decorated it using sticker book, foam sticker, puffy stickers, enamel dots , bits&pieces and Color Vibe papers, and finished my cover using Foam Sticker and some Brads.

Decorating the back cover is a great option to make your album more colorful and fun.

Interactive pages. I love them.

Another way to add photos on paper pages is by making pockets on them. So, I made small pockets on the second page, so I can add 3”x 4” elements, journal elements and some tags.

Adding paper pages is so fun. I really love to make them.

Do you prefer to glue the stickers on the photo or on the plastic of the pockets pages?

I like gluing them on the plastics. So, if I decide to change the photo, it won’t change the decoration of the page.

I had a lot of fun creating this album. Family Fun is a cool collection. I'm sure that will help you document your game’s photos in a happy and easy way.

I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
