Hi beautiful Simple Stories friends, Cristina here today to show you my newest project from the Cozy Days new collection. It’s been a very great pleasure to work with this fall collection I totally fell in love for.
Fall season is my favorite one so I chose these pics from a few years ago that I care a lot but that I had never printed to keep in a mini album. So I decided this was the perfect opportunity to do it.
I love each designs and colors and all the elements this collection is full.
This book is a 5x6” size and I chose a very simple binding so I made a ring album and I used the 4x6 elements patterned paper for the covers and the dark brown from the color vibe textured cardstock fall to cover the inner side of the covers.
I cut out some pages at 2x5” size but I also added two pocket pages by 4x4” size and some tags cut out from the cozy days tags patterned paper to add my journaling using my beautiful new typewriter in pink color.
The inside pages are all different to let me play with the decorations and spaces. I added a ribbon on the back cover to be able to keep them together when the album is closed and to prevent each page from slipping out being held only by the metal ring.
I had so much fun using all the many products available, for my tiny tags I had the pretty cute puffy stickers or the bits and pieces die-cuts. To add titles I had those of the foam stickers in different fonts and colors, totally amazing!!!!
The book stickers to have many flowers and sentiments and chipboards one to create dimension and give a 3d effect to my layers.
The adhesive brads are so cute close to the enamel dots to add round shape in different sizes and materials!!! I really love how they look together!
I also used a pretty cute chipboard scalloped frame to decorate the back side of the cover. As some of the fall colors are so warm and lightly dark I used some white and pink tulle.
That’s all so I hope you can get any inspirations from my project, thanks a lot for stopping by and see you next time.
Bye.
Cristina xxx
