Hey friends how are you???? It’s the most beautiful month of the year to me! It’s the month of my wedding anniversary, of a fair tale come true after a so many years. July makes me feel happy and if I could assign a color to this month for sure I should give it the yellow! Yellow means quiet, serenity, happiness and a sunny summer! So the lemon twist collection is so so wonderful and perfect to tell the story of a beautiful day spent with all my family in a farm. These are the days to remember. I love to spend quality time with them, with them I feel surrounded of love! This collection made me crazy literally! I am deep in love with every piece of it, from the stickers to the ephemera, to the foam stickers to the patterned papers! So let me show you the page :) Come with me ;)
First, I chose the white background to give more emphasis to all the details I have decided to use. I used some nuvo pastes with the beautiful lemon twist stencil. I let they dry and then I started to create levels and clusters of embellishments all together.
Double side foam tape is perfect to balance the dimensions. The beauty of the this collection is to mix together stickers, chipboards, dimensional stickers that to be true are my favorite kind of embellishments. I feel so happy when I create something for Simple Stories!
Then I decided to use the chipboard frame for my three pictures in the nature and then I added here and there details, a lemon, a butterfly, a heart, the handwriting journaling, the decorative brad, the black thread.
To finish the page I added some stickers from the stickers book some drops of color and some drops here and there of white acrylic ink.
and here the whole page came together ;) Hope you will be inspired to create and preserve your memories with this gorgeous collection!
