Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created with the brand new FaBOOlous collection. Halloween is my favorite holiday to scrapbook! I LOVE cute, fun Halloween collections so I was VERY excited when the FaBOOlous collection landed on my doorstep.
I’ve been saving the photo that I used on this scrapbook page for months hoping to find the right collection to tell the story with. I was so happy when FaBOOlous came along. There are two products that I couldn’t wait to use on this layout: patterned paper and the chipboard stickers. I think the patterned papers in this collection are darling!
I used four patterned papers on the background of this layout. The gray paper was the perfect background because it was neutral and ready to be layered with tons of patterned paper and embellishments. I cut three patterned paper strips (10” x 3”). I added those strips to the middle of my background paper. From there, I placed my photo and made sure I had room from my journaling.
The embellishments in this collection are so cute and fun to work with! I created three embellishment clusters on this layout with die cuts, foam stickers, chipboard, adhesive brads, and stickers. The embellishment clusters on either side of the photo help frame the photo and keep the reader's attention on the photo. The embellishment cluster at the top of the page, balances out the embellishment clusters around the photo.
This layout came together so quickly and easily because the FaBOOlous collection is so easy to work with, not to mention FUN!!! I love how this layout came together!! I love it when a project comes together just like I had envisioned and I had so much fun creating it!!
