Ready to enjoy spring in nature with your friends?
I definitely am and here's a layout that'll also spark some joy for spring in you.
Hey friends, it's Lisa and today I'm sharing a fun layout I created with the Classic Pooh collection, also using a wonderful coordinating die set, called "Pooh's Hunny Pot" from Simple Stories and Spellbinders.
Look at this cute honey pot die set...
It's super fun when you use it with different patterned papers for the piece of fabric on top. I used papers from the 6x8 paper pad. And the top has a slit, so it allows you to slide things "inside" the pot, which is so cute. I put a Pooh die-cut in one and a flower in the other one.
Here's the final layout, let's take a deeper look into the process.
For the background, I used one of the patterned papers. To mute the design a bit, I added white acrylic paint on top. I also cut out ½ inch strips of paper, distressed the edges and added them all around the layout as borders.
I matted my photo on 4 pieces of patterned paper and adhered it to the paper. Then, of course, I had to add a lot of flowers... 🙂 I already had my two honey pots ready, so it was time to put the embellishments around my photo.
I used a lot of the flowers from the floral bits, but I trimmed off the white borders a bit first. I added my two honey pots to the page and then arranged all of my flowers all around.
Then I added some foam stickers. I love how Piglet sits next to the honey pot and looks up at Pooh with a flower in his hand... 🥹
To finish, I added some brads and golden paint splatters.
