Forever and Always
Hi everyone! It is Ali, @funadventureswithali sharing my first layout with you for the 2024 Simple Stories Design Team. I am so excited to be here, and love is in the air! I created my first layout using the beautiful Simple Vintage Love Story collection. As soon as I saw this collection, I knew it would be perfect to scrap those wedding photos that hold a special place in my heart.
This beautiful collection has such a romantic feel to it that I wanted to create a lacy heart for my page. I used a border punch and the Basics Kit to cut one-inch strips of each color. I layered each punched strip and overlapped them just a little bit to get the ruffle effect. I then cut my heart out and love the romantic feel it gives to my page. I added foam tape behind the heart to give it dimension.
I added chipboard stickers to the heart with a couple leaves, flower, and butterfly from the ephemera package.
That gorgeous black flowered frame was perfect to hold our picture of our first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Skifton. To add even more texture to the page I ripped a piece from the top and bottom of the solid pink and used the paper that matched the frame to back up those spaces. I curled the edges of the ripped paper so the green color would show. I love the contrast it gives the page.
I finished the page off with this perfect title for our wedding picture, forever and always. I love these foam stickers and how easy they make doing titles for your scrapbook pages.
