Hello Simple Stories Friends!
I'm so happy to share a new layout with you.
I like to bring some different element to my projects. An origami, a technique, a material...
When I saw "Simple Vintage Weathered Garden", I imagined working with acetate.
When I saw "Simple Vintage Weathered Garden", I imagined working with acetate.
This collection is absolutely beautiful. Mixing these elements with acetate made the project more charming.
How do you not fall in love with the collection stencil?
Apply it with taps of gesso on the acetate. Left the design vintage and at the same time delicate.
I applied the gesso on the edges of the background. I like to apply it to the ends of the acetate to highlight the background paper you choose.
I can't say what I liked the most about "Weathered Garden". I'm in love with every element. I mean just look at the butterflies, I couldn't leave them alone! I joined the smallest in pairs and the biggest in trio, in the middle I made a seam to make it stand out even more.
You can see how amazing it is to work with acetate. It makes the project light, and yet you can always be varying the backgrounds. A great one for indecisive people like me! LOL. Sorry, but there are so many beautiful papers, that I was undecisive.
I hope I can inspire you.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Xx Karlla.
