Hi, Friends! Andrea here, sharing a new album I created using the beautiful Front Porch collection by Simple Stories. Once again, I combined a 4x6 Flipbook with a chipboard cover—but this time, the Flipbook is fully attached to the cover!
I had so much fun playing with lots of dimension and textures to design the outside cover and the Flipbook cover. I used patterned papers, chipboard frames, foam stickers, and bits and pieces to add interest. To cover the inside of the chipboard cover, I used two sheets of the same patterned paper—one for the inside and one to completely cover the back of the Flipbook. This way, the Flipbook is permanently attached to the chipboard. I made sure to do this only after the Flipbook was fully decorated. Mixing textures was my favorite part when decorating the front cover of the Flipbook!
This album is all about my family and where we’re at in life right now. So much has changed for us recently, and I wanted to capture all those special moments in one place. Last year, my parents moved to the U.S., and we welcomed our second dog while my sister got her first! I had the chance to see my mom and celebrate my birthday with her after so many years apart. My husband and I celebrated 10 years together, and 2024 was also the year my mom met my mother-in-law for the first time. There were so many incredible memories with the kids and even my best friend from high school!

This album is filled with pockets, flip-ups, and insert pages—some of my favorite elements to include in Flipbooks. I used so many beautiful stickers, floral bits, journal bits, decorative brads, and foam stickers to bring it all to life. The Front Porch collection is so beautiful and inviting—it’s perfect for documenting your family memories.
