Documenting my Days

Documenting my Days
Hello friends, It’s Dorymar! Today, I’m sharing a colorful project with the fabulous “True Colors” collection. This collection has a fantastic color palette and adorable elements, you’re going to love every single piece in this collection.

On the cover, as a base I used on of the paper from the 6x8 paper pad. On top of the base, I created a fun cluster with the pieces included in the “Page Pieces” pack.  I adhered all the pieces with foam tape to create dimension. As a finishing touches, I added doodles around the edges of the paper to create my own design.

My passion for crafting interactive pages is evident in every project. This time, I've infused energy using Color Vibe, Flamingo, Bubblegum, Mint, and Yellow Papers. The first interactive page features a flap that opens outwards, with a side pocket on top that holds a large card, creating more photo space. I decorated it using tags, sentiment stickers, some die cuts and papers from the 6x8 paper pad.

I added another pocket with an extra insert inside the flap. Inside the page is room for a 3.5" x 5" photo. Surrounding the photo, you'll see the small clusters I created using the fantastic elements from the collection.

One of the things I enjoy doing when making my scrapbooks is customizing the pocket pages to suit my preferences. In this instance, I used a 6x8 pocket page and resized it to 5.5” to accommodate the 4x4 cards. Using my Fuse machine, I created a top pocket by sealing the right edge and a bottom pocket by sealing the middle of both cards. The result was fantastic. I now have a small top pocket with space for photos and a journal and a bottom pocket with even more space for photos.

I made a second interactive page that measures 6.75" x 6" and has a pocket on the front. On the back, I created two cascades with tags from the collection. I covered it with patterns that matched well with each other. As usual, I created a beautiful cluster on the top of the pocket, combining all the embellishments included in the collection.

Tags cascade! More space for pictures, gorgeous!

My third and final interactive page has a pocket on the front and an accordion on the back. Strips with magnets hold these together. The front pocket has space for tags and cards; you can place your inserts there, just like I did. Adding clusters is essential; they are an integral part of my designs. They add gorgeous details while incorporating the fantastic embellishments that Simple Stories offers in every collection.

The True Colors collection is super beautiful, and I hope my project inspires you to use it. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy crafting!
