Hi, Simple Stories fans, it is Dorymar today with a fantastic project with the new Spooky Nights collection. What I love about this collection is how the black is highlighted into the glowing green, mixed with purple and orange. I’m in love with this color palette. This collection also has the cutest phantom I have ever seen before; they are so adorable!
To create this project, I decided to use the new black buffalo check 6x8 flipbook, because I think this pattern mixed perfectly with this collection. On the cover I recreate a spooky town with the die cuts from the bits and pieces pack, they are fantastic! I also included puffy stickers, brands, and patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad.
I am so delighted with this collection that I wanted to use many, many items because the variety of pieces is fantastic. The album includes the 10 pocket pages and 4 interactive pages that I made with the beautiful papers from the collection. That is why I had to create a wider biding to incorporate all these beautiful elements. For this, I used black cardstock and a piece of chipboard. This gives me more space and I also personalize my album.
I love to use a lot of layers, this makes the project look more eye-catching and allows me to use all the beautiful patterns that are included in the collection. Below you can see how fun and eye-catching this project is.
I love the designs and phrases that are included in the tags because I can use them as inserts, as interactive elements, to write the journaling, and to decorate. They are wonderful!
