Coolest Pumpkins In The Patch! by Loredana Bucaria
Hello everyone! It’s September! I don’t know about you but September is the new January to me and I love starting the month planning ahead, scheduling things and brainstorming for the projects and creative ideas I want to create.
For years I have loved celebrating Halloween, I love making little parties for my kids and their little friends, organizing tricks and treats for them. All the occasions are the perfect excuse to celebrate :)
Today I want to share with you one of my recent pages made for Simple Stories! I had a lot of fun using this collection and making a different kind of Halloween theme page.
Are you ready? Let’s start! ;P

What I did first to create my layout was to use a white base cardstock and spread watercolors in the center. I have chosen two colors, the orange and the light blue that are in this collection. Then I scattered drops of white and black inks here and there.
Then I had an idea! I used the little black ink drops to create some spiderwebs with my pencil:) Loved this idea!
Once my background was completely dry I started to create my title with an alphabet cutting die. I cut it twice and stuck one on the other with the 3d double side tape.

I wanted the title in the center of the page approximately and then around it I built the rest of my page elements. So to begin I inserted two Halloween photo strips. Then I inserted all my details, the chipboards, the foam stickers, the stickers, the decorative brads, and a tag.

I added the little back stars and the enamel dots here and there. Following with the color palette I used orange, black, green and light blue.
In the right bottom corner I tore the cardstock paper to create a sort of window on the stars of the spooky night:) I then added some word stickers on the top right of the page and behind the white cardstock the patterned paper with the same colors I chose for my watercolor background.
I am crazy for the tiny details I like to add stickers to my pages.

And here is the full page :)

Hope you like it and will be inspired to play and have fun recording your beautiful everyday memories.
Love, Lory
