We are in the habit of taking photos of our birthdays, but have you ever thought of gathering together for a single photo with the most important people in your life?
2020 was a year of great learning and one of them, for me, was that I must value every minute I spend with the people I love. I must celebrate each day, celebrate each smile, each hug, each phone call.
I love to celebrate my birthday and I also love to celebrate the birthdays of the people I love. When I saw the Hello today collection from Simple Stories I was sure it was perfect for my birthday’s sn@p.
The idea is to select a photo for each birthday girl, thus representing the day and bringing everyone together in the same snap.
I started using pieces of the papers “Hickory” and “January” to make my background. Then I used a frame from Chipboard frames, the months cards and calendar, chipboards from 6x12 chipboards, diecuts, enamels, and foam stickers to embellish my cover.
I decorated all 4x6 and 3x4 cards.
The idea is to change the cards and the cover every month.
On the back of the 3x4 cards I wrote the name and date of the birthdays so I can know which photos I will add.
For extra texture on the bellow of my cover, I used 3D foam stickers where I added “Celebrate” and “everyday”.
I glued pockets behind the cover to keep 4x6 and 3x4 cards. That way I was able to store all the cards and I will be able to change them when their month arrives.
“Collect beautiful memories” is exactly what I want with this snap.
Bring together in a single album all the people I love celebrating your life.
For each month I made a divider. To make the tabs I used the names that you can find in the sticker book. Adding more photos is always a good option, right? So I made this one.
To make an interactive page, I removed two pockets from this page, it's super easy and fun.
I had a lot of fun creating this album. Hello today collection is super versatile, and I'm sure that it will help you document your 2021 photos in a happy and easy way.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Stunning and love how you cut away two pockets to make the page interactive especially!
