Hello memory keeping friends! When was the last time a collection kit sparked an idea, and reminded you of a story you want to tell and inspired you to create a layout? Anya here today and I am so excited to share with you a layout I created with the Hello Today collection, which inspired so many stories I want to record! Today I am sharing one of them, and there are at least half a dozen more I would love to make!
I simply adore all the cards with prompts for stories in this line! For this layout I trimmed a few cards and assembled them in a pocket, which was made of another 4 x 6” card element. Having a pocket on a page let me use a lot more cards then I could otherwise fit on this page and still let me have space for photos and journaling.
Since my page will be kept in a page protector, I decided to adhere all of the cards down, but they create a nice visual interest and add to the theme of the story I was trying to tell.
To balance the left side of the layout, I added a line of round stickers to the right side. Years back, when I was trying to figure out how principals of design work, I noticed that repeated elements in your project always catch an eye. To make them even more noticeable, to each of the round sticker I added a tiny matching enamel dot.
Hope you will take another look at the Hello Today collection, and let it spark the ideas for your own stories to tell!
