Hi everyone! It’sTya (@tyasmith3).I’m so excited to share a new project I created using the super cute Fur Baby Cat collection. I made a set of 6 fun fold cards featuring playful patterns, adorable cat icons, and just the right amount of feline charm. I couldn’t resist adding a little interactive twist with the fun fold designs- it makes these cards extra special. Keep scrolling to the all the paw-sitively cute cards I’ve made!
I love using the 3x4 cut-apart cards found in the collections on my cards. This design- which is a double panel flap card- is perfect for adding these size cards on the front panel. Each of my cards has the same basic design, with different embellishing done on each card. I used shades of Color Vibe cardstock that coordinate with the collection as my card bases and then used all sorts of embellishments to decorate the cards. Here is card 1:
The front panels are decorated with pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad which are a great scale for card making! I also pulled in some chunky twine that coordinates with the card base color to the side of the card. My own kitty LOVES twine and string so it’s a little shout out to my own little fluffy fur baby!
Here are a few pics of the insides of the cards after you open the flaps. I placed a piece of white cardstock on the back panel. This spot is the perfect place to add a little message to your recipient.
