Boo-Ya! by Mik Godinho

Hi friends! Mik here today with a new flipbook inspiration.

Today, I’ll show you how I used the Faboolous Spooky Nights collection to make a super fun and cute Halloween invitation album. Yes! It’ll be an invitation where your guests may put some photos that they’ll take at the party.

I chose the 4x8 Black Flipbook for my project.

Before I started decorating my cover, I decided to cut a piece of it. I wanted to make a fun invitation-album, so I cut a 2.5” piece from the front cover and started creating pockets and pages, gradually cascading from the front cover to the back.

To make my background I used a piece of “spooky nights” paper, and then decorated it using puffy stickers, decorative brad, bits & pieces, 6x12 chipboard, cardstock stickers and a piece of 1”x3 ½” acetate where I glued “party” from the color vibe alpha sticker book – bright.

On the back cover, you can find the invitation. To decorate I used a piece of “Let’s get spooky” paper that I glued to make the background, a journal bit, in which I wrote all the details about the party, and some puffy stickers.

I love to add acetate to my projects. Here I used it as my first page.

Here, the goodies of the album start.

As the album will be a gift given to our guests to add photos, I made a pocket where our guests can find stickers and die cuts to use on the photos that will be taken at the party. So, the guest can choose whether to add them to the photo or not.

I wrote the size of the photo on the white cardstock, so our guest can know what photo size to add into the album. Also, I used a removable adhesive to glue the white cardstock. That way our guest can take it out without damaging the album.

I also made a flip pocket to add some journaling, tags, and photos.

I had a lot of fun creating this invitation-flipbook. Spooky Nights collection is BOOtiful. I’m sure that will help you document your Halloween photos in a happy and easy way.

I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
