Hi Friends! Andrea with you today sharing a new project using the beautiful Full Bloom collection by Simple Stories. I can’t believe Spring is almost here again and that makes me so happy. I made a mini album to keep a few of last year’s Spring pictures and I can’t wait to create a few more projects using this collection.
I chose a hexagon frame cut file by Wispy Willow Designs and traced the outer edges onto a chipboard piece to create my front and back covers. I used a pretty floral patterned paper, punched three holes on the left side of the cover for three binding rings and decorated the front cover using chipboard and cardstock stickers as well as some bits from the collection. I added 4 pieces of ribbon to get two points of closure. I love how colorful this mini album turned out.
The inside pages are all hexagons. Some of them are plain, allowing me to add photos or journaling and some have incorporated pockets to keep some extra fun elements such as tags and cards from the 3x4 elements patterned paper. I made a couple of interactive pages to make it more fun. If you have seen my projects before, you know I love adding machine stitching details when possible, so you will see that on every page here.
