Hi, Friends! Andrea here sharing a very cozy and special layout using the Cider & Donuts collection by Simple Stories and a few floral bits from the Color Vibe Fall Basics. This photo is from 2015 when I lived in the Middle East and lived super close to my parents. We used to spend all the Holidays together. That is definitely something I miss. I think the Cider & Donuts collection is great to highlight family memories. I am in love with the colors and all the beautiful icons.
I created a very dimensional layout. The layers start from the background. I used two pieces of patterned paper to frame a Mustard piece of Color Vibe Cardstock and I found the perfect chipboard frame to frame a black and white photo. Once I had those few elements in place, it was time to start building some more layers and clusters.
I pulled out my Color Vibe Fall Basic embellishments and had fun layering some of the pieces to create four flowers that I added to the cluster to the left of the photo. I added more pops of colors by incorporating the adhesive brads and enamel dots as finishing touches. I made sure to add the date this photo was taken, and I used a journaling sticker from the sticker book to write my journaling.
I hope this project inspires you to pick this gorgeous collection to document some cozy memories. I cannot wait to see what you create with it.
