Best Day Ever! by Odessa Reichel

Best Day Ever! by Odessa Reichel

The Say Cheese collections are always so cute, and Say Cheese Main Street does not disappoint! I love the colours in it and the hand-drawn style is so fresh. My favourite are all of the little cameras - there is even a washi tape full of them!

Usually I decorate my album and Flipbook covers, but the Say Cheese Main Street 4x6 Flipbook needs no embellishment, its perfect on it’s own! There’s also a mouse-y 6x8 Flipbook that matches Say Cheese Main Street. I used my Flipbook to document some fun family memories, but the 4x6 album also makes a great autograph album! There’s even the 12x12 Autograph Cards cardstock to cut apart and have autograph pages ready to go.

I had some photos from a Pixar exhibit that needed documenting and the whimsical style of Say Cheese Main Street works great with them. I used some bold words from the chipboard and foam stickers on my photos here and embellished with a mix of brads, stickers, washi and more. I love when there are coordinating enamel dots like there are in Say Cheese Main Street, they’re such a perfect final touch.

Using one of the circular stickers from the sticker book under the round brads is a great way to make them pop. The new adhesive brads are so easy to add to my pockets now, no holes needed! I also used one of the foam word stickers here with a tiny phrase sticker from the sticker book to add a title to the photo.

This page is my favourite in my Flipbook. There’s a photo of one of my favourite characters (with that adorable camera washi!) on the left and on the right is a fun interactive element.

I made a little flip element to add in a 6x8 photo to the 4x6 Flipbook. I cut the Full of Smiles cardstock down to the same size as the page protectors and lined it with some washi strips from the Say Cheese Main Street Sticker Book. I used the same cards stock on the back of the photo and made a hinge with washi tape to make it flip up easily. I decorated the back of the photo with one of the sweet Say Cheese Main Street Chipboard Frames and a 3x4 element under it. Finally, I used the scalloped border sticker from the Combo Sticker sheet along the bottom edge to make it easier to flip up.

Flip it up and there’s a full sized photo! It’s one of my favourites so I wanted it to be big. I kept the embellishing simple but on point. I used a chipboard banner from the chipboard stickers along the top and a cluster of bits & pieces, brads, enamel dots and stickers to add some journalling on the bottom. Say Cheese Main Street is such a fun collection, I can see myself using it lots, even for everyday photos.
